“Our favourite parts of the trip were Selim Monastery, the underground city and Ilhara Valley. Lunch was very good too. The tour guide Eli was excellent, was very knowledgeable and kept the group entertained throughout. The driver was very good too. We felt safe and he kept us well supplied with water too. We found the day was quite long though and think the last two stops were not necessary ie the visit to the overpriced tourist shop in particular and also pigeon valley ( although it was a lovely view).”

“Small group green tour in cappadocia. The tour was small group however the guide Nigar rushed us through all the spots. She was upset some of the tourist for being late even for 5-10 mins. She provided us very brief descriptions of locations we were traveling to. When I asked her a question, one of her response was ‘didn’t I tell this already?’”

It wasn’t a big deal, but you typically don’t get back to your hotel closer to 6:30 instead of 5:30 like it’s listed.”

“The tour I went on was good, very interesting and the guide was a true professional - very chatty and informative. But I arrived and was transferred to a different tour agency to the one I booked. The tour was with Stone Gate not Paphlagonia Tours. The tour was 16 people despite clearly saying it would be 15 max. and we didn’t stop at Narligol Krater Golu. I still enjoyed the experience, but I had researched the different tour options before I went so was slightly disappointed it seemed to be slightly different. Had I known that I probably would have chosen a different operator.”

“They took us to different places - pigeon valley, ilhara valley etc. The tour guide was super friendly and explained the different sites clearly. However please be warned that the onyx factory is merely just a staff member telling you about the jewelry and then you visit a store filled with different jewelry for you to buy. We also were taken to a leather shop and a spice market (to buy stuff) which was not on the itinerary. We did not end up going to the Monastery. Also the entrance fees are excluded (this is stated on the details) but be warned that it is quite expensive. It is 15…”
